OUR MISSION

The Southern California Chapter 14 of the 173^d Airborne Brigade Association is one of 26 chapters located throughout the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe. It is our expressed mission to maintain and enrich the legacy established by our army society recognized as the first American ground unit in the Republic of Viet Nam beginning May 5, 1965 and concluding in 1971.Our duty continues as a new generation of Sky Soldier is now deployed at the forefront the war on terrorism in the Middle East .We will support the divergent and moral needs of these active comrades. We will strive to strengthen the relationship between past and present warriors.  We will ensure that every entitled member and their eligible dependents are apprised of all benefits accorded them through the Department of Veterans Affairs. We are charged with promoting our goodwill throughout the community by actively availing our time, real world experiences, and resources to those in need.
